Bio: I work as a performing artist, teacher and performing arts researcher with a specific interest on safe, effective and optimised vocal production for Musical Theater performers. My Ph.D. research is titled “Investigating the Role of Pilates in the Posture and Vocal Production of Singers”. I am passionate about evidence-based research and pedagogical approaches within the performing arts, and believe that high quality research that informs and supports pedagogical practices enhances the student experience, and equips them with the essential skills and more that they will require for a career in the performing arts industry.
