Bio:
Christine Browning, Soprano, originally from Beavercreek, OH, is living her dream singing and teaching in NYC and around North America. As a performer, she regularly recitals focusing on repertoire from the Great American Songbook, opera, operetta, and has a unique passion for new works and has been a part of several world premieres.
As a teacher, she maintains a large private voice studio on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and at Bloomingdale School of Music where she is the Director of Vocal Studies and a Resident Teaching Artist. Not only do Christine’s students compete regularly, many attend most prestigious summer programs, collegiate music programs, and performing arts high schools, including NYU Tisch School of the Arts, The New School Mannes School of Music and The School of Drama, AMDA, Tanglewood Institute, Interlochen Center for the Arts, Brevard Music Center, MSM Summer, Summer Arts Institute, Fiorello H. LaGuardia of Music & Art and Performing Arts, Special Music School, Frank Sinatra School of The Arts, Professional Performing Arts High School, and Talent Unlimited. She holds a Master’s Degree in Classical Voice from The Manhattan School of Music and a double Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance and Music Education from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.
