Bio: Ms. Fort earned her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from University of Wisconsin at Madison in 2012 and an M.M. in voice performance and pedagogy from Penn State University in 2003. She currently works as a voice pathologist, specializing in the professional voice, at Baylor Scott & White The Voice Center in Dallas, Texas. She worked at Massachusetts Eye and Ear for 3 years after completing her clinical fellowship in voice at the Philadelphia Ear, Nose & Throat Associates, operated by Dr. Robert Sataloff. From 2005 to 2008, Ms. Fort served as Assistant Professor of voice at Brewton-Parker College in Georgia. Her clinical interests include working with singers, teachers and other professional voice users. Ms. Fort is regularly sought after for presentations and workshops on singing and voice health. She presented at National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) 54th National Conference in Chicago and at the Pan American Vocology Association (PAVA) conference in Scottsdale, AZ. She presented multiple workshops on the topic of voice and persuasion at Harvard Law School. Ms. Fort was an invited book reviewer for New York Singing Teachers Association's peer-reviewed journal VOICEPrints. Ms. Fort is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and NATS, and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Voice.
