Bio: Kaitlyn Garner, mezzo-soprano, attended East Carolina University for her undergraduate studies and graduated with a BA in Music Education. She was awarded the most outstanding senior for choral music education (2016). After graduating college, Kaitlyn taught high school choir for six years in North Carolina. Kaitlyn has music directed numerous musicals and co-founded musical theatre camps for students grades K-12. In addition to teaching and directing, Kaitlyn has performed in operas, musicals, cabarets, and cantatas. Kaitlyn received first place in both the 2023-2024 state and regional NATS musical theatre treble adult categories. She is currently on the roster as an alto for the professional choir North Carolina Choral Artists. Kaitlyn works as a private voice studio teacher, music director, and vocalist.
