Title: Applied Voice Instructor (Part-Time), University of Toronto

Bio: An Instructor of Applied Voice at the Faculty of Music, University of Toronto since 2013, Mark Joelson Daboll holds a Masters degree in Vocal Pedagogy and Performance from the University of Toronto, and has been teaching voice since 2001. His principal teacher and mentor is W. Stephen Smith (Northwestern/Juilliard), author of The Naked Voice, and teacher to many of the world's elite singers. All voice types and styles from classical/opera to Broadway belting, beginner-to-professional level are represented in his private studio in the downtown core. Performance opportunities and studio class workshops are regularly offered for those wanting to upgrade their skill level. He is also certified through the Voiceworks program to teach multiple vocal styles, and is increasingly sought after as an adjudicator and vocal group clinician. Mark is a member of the Canadian Music Festival Adjudicators Association (CMFAA).
