Bio:

I take great joy in bringing wide-ranging expertise in both classical and contemporary commercial voice (musical theatre, pop, rock) to the training of professional and pre-professional singers and singer-actors in New Jersey, NYC and online. My own experience as a professional singer in opera internationally, musical theatre, and avant-garde music informs my work with a wide range of singers' interests. My students have performed as solo performers on Broadway, Off-Broadway, national tours, national and international television, won national competitions, been accepted to top colleges and universities and gone from being unable to carry a tune to singing songs. It is a musically eclectic studio where I thrill to see vocal and artistic transformation happen on a daily basis.

I am a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, and am President of the New York Singing Teachers Association.

I have taught voice technique and masterclasses for the New National Theater Tokyo’s Young Artist Training Program, been visiting clinician for the competitive show choirs in the Sweetwater School District (San Diego, CA) and private voice teacher at Trinity College, Hartford CT. Serious, motivated beginners through advanced singers are welcomed. I also created and facilitate “UnMuted: Reclaiming Your Authentic Expression Through Music and Mindset”, an immersive voice and communication intensive in New York’s Catskills.
