Bio: Jonathon Struve is currently serving as assistant professor of Voice at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, maintaining a diverse studio of 20 students. While some of the students are music majors with voice as their primary instrument, Jonathon also enjoys working with a large number of non-majors interested in pursuing voice study as an elective courses. It is an exciting challenge to work with students of varying abilities and previous vocal study. Students participate both in private instruction and a weekly studio class, where students are given the opportunity to perform for each other for comments in a master-class setting. Jonathon specializes in teaching vocal pedagogy in the classical and musical theater traditions, and also teaches courses and directs productions in musical theater and opera. \n \nAlthough Jonathon's current studio is contained within Luther College students taking voice as a course, he is happily open to accepting private students.
