Bio: Lyric Coloratura Soprano • Vocal Mentor • Founder & Director, BIIMA • Creator, Release Your Inner Voice Whether you’re preparing for university auditions, stepping into professional performance, or simply craving a deeper connection to your voice, Maghan offers an empathetic, expert-driven path to sing and speak with ease, freedom, and fearless authenticity. Maghan launched Release Your Inner Voice, a six-month online mentorship program designed for singers of all levels who are ready to claim the full power of their instrument. Based on her own journey of overcoming vocal tension, breath-holding, and emotional self-silencing, the program drops perfectionism and embraces authenticity. Participants receive personalized repertoire, continuous feedback throughout the week, a rich library of warm-ups, weekly masterclasses, and a peer community that fosters courage and growth. Maghan’s signature teaching is built on four core pillars: Finding the Flow of the Breath – enabling singers to let their exhalation support freedom and musicality. Integrating Physical Awareness – aligning body, posture and support for ease and sustainability. Releasing the Vocal Tract – identifying and letting go of chronic tension to unlock open, natural sound. Elevating the Speaking Voice – ensuring projection, clarity, and presence in both performance and daily life. Her approach has helped singers regain confidence, rediscover joy in their voices, and step into fuller, more authentic expression. One graduate reflected: “I feel calmer and proud of myself, which is a completely different outlook that I had in the past.” As founder and Executive Director of the Breno Italy International Music Academy (BIIMA), Maghan re-imagined how young artists train, creating an immersive, two-week experience in the Italian Alps that prioritises connection over competition and self-discovery over self-critique. At BIIMA, singers engage daily in one-on-one coaching, masterclasses, language immersion, public performance, and cultural exploration—emerging not just as better vocalists, but as more empowered human beings. biimaperformance.com When Maghan isn’t coaching or directing BIIMA’s transformative programs, she continues to perform as a lyric coloratura soprano, celebrated for her interpretations of contemporary repertoire and her artistry in art song and oratorio, where she brings nuance, vitality, and emotional depth to every performance. maghanmcphee.com
