Bio: Merrill Tanner, soprano, has a Bachelor and Master of Music in Voice Performance, teaches singing privately, soprano section leader at McDougall United Church, performs in the Colibri duo with classical guitarist Ernst Birss and promotes singing for people with Parkinson’s disease in the community. Past performances include the St. Albert Chamber Music society, yearly recitals in McDougall Music at noon series, solos with the Chorale St. Jean, Unitarian Church, Christian Science Church, McDougall United Church (including Messiah and soprano section leader), the Countess in Die Fledermaus (Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan festival), Monica in the Medium (Saskatoon Opera), Mother in the Little Match Girl and Saskatoon Fringe Opera productions.
