Title: Voice Instructor

Bio: Having performed operatically on the East Coast and Midwest for 20 years and having taught voice for the last 18 years, Elizabeth B. Splaine has the experience to help you reach your vocal goals. \n \nMs. Splaine has studied voice for over ten years both privately as well as through New England Conservatory’s extension program. In addition, she studied vocal pedagogy with Ms. Diana Borgia-Petro, who, in turn, studied under the renowned Ms. Florence Berggren. \n \nMs. Splaine has the critical ear and eye to detect strengths and weaknesses in her students. While highlighting a student’s strengths to build performing self-confidence, Ms. Splaine addresses areas of improvement in a positive, goal-oriented manner. \n \nMs. Splaine attends to all aspects of vocal technique (breathing, focus, posture, relaxation, support) while also coaching important performing skills, such as audition technique, song interpretation, musicianship and presentation. \n \nA true believer that everyone should have the opportunity to study voice, if desired, Ms. Splaine does not audition students. Whether you are a novice or preparing for the audition/role of a lifetime, Ms. Splaine would like to help. Please contact her for availability and pricing.
