Bio: Judith Shelton is an Assistant Professor of Music at East Texas Baptist University. She recently was invited as a teaching fellow to partake in the International Performing Arts Institute in Bavaria, where she performed in the Musical Theater Concert, Leiderabend, and Musikal Spektakular. While in Bavaria she sang for Christine Chávez, the foremost interpreter of Carmen in the United States, and learned from Camilla Tilling, famous for her Baroque music interpretations. She has performed internationally on concert tours across Europe and Japan, has had roles in many musicals and operas, performed on international TV, and has had music compositions performed on national stages. Ms. Shelton is thankful to God for these opportunities. It is her desire to see students become excellent performers, who desire to reach others with the Gospel through music and stagecraft.
