Bio: Wei Feng is a classically trained opera singer, teacher, and vocal coach. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Qufu Normal University, a Master’s degree in Voice Performance from the Chicago Musical College of Roosevelt University, and a Master’s degree in Educational Media and Technology from East Tennessee State University. Upon receiving her Bachelor’s degree, she was hired as a principal soloist for The Shandong Song & Dance Theatre. After pursuing her graduate education in the United States, she worked as a middle school educator and was a faculty of the music department at East Tennessee State University. Ms. Wei Feng is a active professional singer. With over 30 years of performing, Wei Feng brings firsthand experience from working professionally in the field of opera. She has taught voice for over 20 years of her career. In 2011, she founded Wei Feng Vocal Studio to bring professional vocal training to students of all ages. She has her Blue Sky Children’s Choir, Wei Feng Sound of Music Choir and Adult Vocal Master Classes. Ms.Wei Feng’s student Maggie Liu was a First Place and Judges' Distinction Award (Plaque Trophy) Winner (Opera Aria Category) of the American Protégé International Vocal Competition 2015. Wei Feng is a member of Music Teachers' Association of California and National Association of Teachers of Singing.
