Bio: The performing arts have been an integral part of Marissa Rago's life for as long as she can remember. She first stepped onto a stage at age 5 and had her first major film role as “pepper” in Disney’s Annie at age 10. Marissa studied voice & musical theater at both Westminster Choir College and Princeton and Wagner College in NY. Today, Marissa owns her own music company and works as a professional recording artist & singer/songwriter, writing in varied genres such as pop, country, musical theatre, Disney and R&B. Her original music can be heard on all streaming platforms. In addition to creating music, Marissa works as a private voice teacher to artists of all ages across New York and New Jersey. She has been teaching for over nine years and focuses on proper vocal technique, music theory, breath control, stamina, and most importantly, building CONFIDENCE.
