Job Description / Duties

The University of North Dakota Department of Theatre Arts and Department of Music seek applicants for the position of Instructor in Voice and Music Director, non-tenure-track, beginning August 16, 2015. This appointment is a one-year position with the possibility of renewal depending on need and availability of funds. Primary duties are teaching voice lessons to students in the BFA in Musical Theatre degree program and serving as Music Director for one musical production per year. Duties may also include teaching voice lessons to undergraduate music majors and/or courses related to music and musical theatre.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Minimum qualifications: Earned Master of Fine Arts or Master of Music degree. Demonstrated record of successful college-level experience teaching voice lessons to musical theatre and music majors. Demonstrated record of success as a music director for musical theater productions.
