New Works for Voice: A Composer Showcase 

A new opportunity at the 59th NATS National Conference

Call for Composers:

We invite composers to participate in a special Composer Showcase session at the 59th NATS National Conference. This session, New Works for Voice: A Composer Showcase, will highlight composers who are actively contributing to today’s vocal repertoire.  

The exhibit-style forum will allow selected composers to introduce their works by sharing recordings, videos, and score samples. This showcase is a unique opportunity for composers to connect directly with the approximately 1,000 singers, voice teachers, and collaborative pianists who attend the NATS National Conference.

Instructions

Composer Submission Guidelines: Deadline for submission- April 24, 2026 at midnight ET

• Submit composer name and contact information 
• Provide a composer website or a website where attendees can access or purchase scores 
• All composer participants are required to register for the conference, at a minimum of the daily conference registration rate.

Showcase Guidelines: 

• NATS will provide each composer with a table during the Composer Showcase. 
• Composers are encouraged to bring their own device to play recordings or videos and share PDF samples of scores. 
• Composers may provide a QR code or website link so attendees can easily access and sample their music on personal devices. 
• Composers may bring sample scores or links to scores for attendees to review.
