New Jersey NATS Second Sunday Series - Learning the Latin American & Iberian Art Song

September 13, 2020

Starting in September, NJ NATS will be presenting the Second Sunday Series, which is a series of repertoire presentations on literature from Latin American and black composers. Each second Sunday of the month, we will invite a professional from the world of singing to present on a subject in their field, virtually via Zoom. Each class will be an hour long.

Our first presenter is soprano and musicologist, Dr. Patricia Caicedo, who is a leading interpreter of Latin American and Iberian art song. She is an expert in the study and performance of songs in this repertory, having published 9 books on the subject. She is also an avid performer of these works, having performed all over the world in addition to founding and directing the Barcelona Festival of Song, which focuses on the performance and study of Latin American and Iberian art song.

The Zoom link will be posted on our web page: http://www.njnats.net/
