Cliff serves as an adjunct professor of voice at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, the worship pastor at DC Church in Chesapeake, VA, and as a contributor and clinician for The Church Collective. Having provided leadership to traditional, transitioning and modern worship ministries, he is curator of www.worshiprehab.us, a blog containing practical insights and resources for worship leaders and worship pastors who are working their way through the paths of changing ministries. A classically trained vocalist and conductor who leads modern worship, Cliff has learned to adapt his vocal style and uses his experience to mentor and train musicians of all backgrounds and levels of ability tailored to their particular setting.
Cliff has studied and incorporates the Blaylock method in his teaching a believes that singing should be a natural extension of speech. Having overcome several challenging vocals hurdles himself, he approaches his students with the idea of creating balanced tension of the support system and vocal tract for optimal and healthy tone production which creates an even and appropriate color within each genre of music being sung.
