Bio:

I teach vocal technique and repertoire in greater Washington DC and New York City, working with singers from widely varying backgrounds.

My book "Sane Singing: A Guide to Vocal Progress" discusses the philosophy and process of studying singing.

In 2018 I presented "Self-Assessment Protocol for Singers" in a Poster Session at the NATS National Conference.

Featured speaker at Speakeasy Cooperative national conference, "SECO Live 2019".

Genres I perform: art song, chamber ensembles, chamber opera, musical theatre, new and experimental music of many genres, and American Songbook. There is a special place in my heart for Latin American art song repertoire.
