Job Description / Duties
● Teach undergraduate and graduate Voice Lessons
● Teach voice-related courses such as Vocal Diction, Vocal Pedagogy, Vocal Methods, Vocal Literature, or other subjects as assigned
● Work with faculty in the Voice, Choral, and Theatre areas to sustain and grow the vocal program
● Actively recruit for the Department of Music
● Cultivate working relationships with area and regional educators to promote music education and vocal music
● Maintain an active performance career
● Maintain a collaborative relationship with Music and Theatre faculty in support of productions
● Participate in Department of Music activities and committee work, as load permits
Qualifications / Required Skills
At a minimum, candidate will have:
● Doctorate in Music; ABD will be considered
● Expertise to teach Voice Lessons and voice-related courses
● Evidence of creative activity and achievement in Vocal Performance
Preferentially, candidate will have:
● Doctorate in Vocal Performance and/or Vocal Pedagogy
● Successful experience teaching at the college level
● Professional performance experience
● Classical, Musical Theatre, and CCM teaching experience

Workload is 60% teaching; 20% creative activity and 20% service.
