Job Description / Duties

The Department of Music at Bucknell University seeks applicants able to step into an established choral program and build on its historic excellence through effective recruiting, leadership, and vision. The appointment may be made at the rank of assistant, associate, or full professor depending upon the appointee's previous experience. Responsibilities include leading the department's two choral ensembles (one of which is a chamber ensemble) and teaching in choral/voice-related areas including conducting, choral methods, and/or studio voice. Any additional teaching opportunities would depend upon the needs of the department and the expertise of the appointee.
