Job Description / Duties

Duties will include teaching voice students at the undergraduate and graduate levels and related courses that could include vocal pedagogy, diction for singers or Song Repertoire, as well as serving as a mentor for voice students. While serving as an active and collaborative member of the Vocal Arts Division the successful candidate would maintain a profile as a performing artist. The accomplishments of candidates for this position must reflect their commitment to working with an inclusive student population, and their ability to contribute in meaningful ways to the diversity and intercultural goals of the university.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Earned doctorate in music, or a master’s degree in music with equivalent distinguished national/international accomplishments is required. A record of outstanding ability as performer and teacher is desired. The School is especially interested in soprano or mezzo‐soprano applicants.
