The National Association of Teachers of Singing is pleased to announce the 2025 semifinalists in the National Student Auditions.
Selected from nearly 1,200 qualifying student-singers in the preliminary auditions, the semifinalists include students of NATS members from 14 American and Canadian regions, as well as the International Region, which spans eight chapters across four continents. These student singers will continue the exciting audition process in-person from June 26 to 28 at Temple University, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
This year, the NSA features a record-setting 37 audition categories of classical, musical theatre, commercial music for children through adults along with American Negro Spiritual categories. Adjudicator panels selected approximately 15 top student singers per category to advance to the semifinals. The top three in each category will move on to the live final auditions. NATS will award more than $84,000 in prizes to the NSA finalists.
Semifinalists and their teachers were emailed detailed instructions on Friday, May 16.
