Tennessee Chapter Fall Auditions

The Tennessee Chapter Fall Auditions will be held online

Registration will open Friday, October 2 and will close on Friday, October 16 at midnight. Please be sure to register in a timely fashion; once registration closes it does not reopen.

We will be using the AuditionWare website to register teachers and students. NATS members access the registration portal through the National NATS website, www.nats.org

The Fall 2020 TN NATS Auditions fees are as follows:
$25 – Teacher registration

$15 – Student fee / category

$35 – Staff Accompanist fee for 3 songs

$45 – Staff Accompanist fee for 4-5 songs

 

Teachers are required to enter their students’ repertoire at the time of registration. Once registration closes repertoire may not be changed. Any questions regarding the appropriateness of repertoire should be directed to Jeff Williams, at williamsjj@apsu.edu.   

 

The schedule of this audition process will be as follows:
Friday, September 25th – Staff accompanist request-by date to Sabrina Warren

Friday, October 2nd – Registration opens

Tuesday, October 6th – Staff accompanists get recordings to teachers and students no later than this date 

Friday, October 16th – Registration closes at 11:59pm

Saturday, October 17th – cohort of TN NATS Exec board members begins the video vetting process ensuring everything is uploaded correctly and corresponds to the repertoire information for that student (if we come across an issue, you will be notified immediately giving you the opportunity to fix it)

Tuesday, October 20th – video vetting process finished

Wednesday, October 21st – teacher adjudication begins

Monday, October 26th – teacher adjudication ends at 11:59pm

Saturday, October 31st at 11:30am CT – TN NATS membership business meeting (Zoom link will be provided once everyone is registered)

Saturday, October 31st at 1pm CT – Finals Round aired on YouTube.  All teachers and students will be sent the link no later than 48 hours prior to the event.  A compilation video will be created of all the finalists in each category (unranked) and The rankings of the winners will be announced after all student performances are finished.
