In a positive, encouraging atmosphere, it is Tannis’ goal to provide each student with the opportunity to increase their knowledge of singing so that they may learn to communicate more effectively in sharing their music with others.
Tannis Fast Vetter is an active vocal teacher, music educator, choral director and adjudicator, and has experience working with students of all ages and levels in many different styles of music, including classical, jazz, popular and musical theatre. She prepares students for vocal exams, festivals, recitals, choral singing or just singing for the love of music. Tannis particularly enjoys working with special needs students. In addition to her private studio, Tannis has also taught at private schools, colleges, conservatories and university.
Tannis Fast Vetter graduated with a Master of Music (Voice Performance) from the University of Western Ontario, and holds an A.R.C.T. (Voice), A.R.C.T. (Piano) from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She has been a member of O.R.M.T.A. and N.A.T.S. (National Association of Teachers of Singing) for over 25 years, and continues to be involved in music workshops and conferences.
