Bio: Jennifer Paterson graduated from Boston University, the Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto, and the University of British Columbia. She holds an Masters of Music (M.M.) and an Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Toronto (ARCT). She was a recipient of the coveted Canada Council Award to study at the Royal Opera House in London. She has appeared with the Vancouver Opera, The Cambridge University Opera, Rhode Island Opera, the Goldofsky Opera Theater, the renowned Boston Chamber Opera, and The Boston pops. She has recorded two recordings with AGFA records. “Childhood Cameos” by the Boston Composer, Minuetta Kessler and Rouseau’s opera “Le Devin Du Village”. She has performed popular and classical music in the United States, Canada, and Europe and has appeared on television and recorded both here and abroad. She has sung leading roles in West Side Story, Carousel, The Fantasticks, Ballo in Maschera, The Mikado, The Magic Flute, and The Marriage of Figaro. She created the English version role of Phoebe in the Jean-Jacques Rousseau Opera, Le Devin Du Village, well as the role of Sophie in Philidor's Tom Jones. Jennifer was on the executive board of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and is a member of the Music Teachers’ Association of California and the National Association of Teachers of Singing. She has successfully prepared and coached singers and instrumentalists for the entire range of musical performance. Her students include finalists in "American Idol," and "America's Got Talent". Jennifer is the founder of California Music Studios in Encinitas, the fastest growing studio of music in the San Diego, Orange County, Riverside and Los Angeles ares.
