Bio: My approach to teaching singing is simple, clear and scientific, emphasizing vocal health, beauty and expressive communication. I specialize in helping young singers as their voices change in addition to improving freedom, clarity and agility in older voices. I encourage my students to cultivate their best habits in both singing and speaking. For nearly 30 years, my wife, mezzo-soprano Grace Gori, and I have been master teachers and mentors to many successful performers in choral, operatic, oratorio, classical, rock, pop and musical theater venues throughout the Greater Washington DC area. Our students include professional singers, NATS Regionals award winners and college scholarship award recipients.
