Bio:

Bruce McClurg is a Certified McClosky Voice Technician (CMVT) through the McClosky Institute of Voice, Boston MA and a certified Singing Voice Specialist (SVS) through the Center for the Care of the Professional Voice, Chicago, IL. The New York Singing Teachers’ Association awarded him the title of Distinguished Voice Professional for his completion of the Oren L. Brown Development Program. Cerificate in vocology from Lamar University As the Minister of Music at the First Congregational Church of Redlands, he conducts the adult Sanctuary choir and two handbell choirs. He is an active soloist having appeared with the Redlands Symphony, the Pass Chorale, the Riverside Master Chorale, the Community Chorus of Redlands, at the Redlands Bowl, the Corona del Mar Bach festival and opera productions in Southern California.

Mr. McClurg earned a Master of Music degree from the University of Maryland, and Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Music Education degrees from Drake University. He is an adjunct professor of music at Crafton Hills College where he was awarded the "Outstanding Adjunct Professor's Award" for 2006 and an adjunct professor of voice at the Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music of Chapman University.

He maintains a private voice studio in Redlands which is located at 233 E. State St., Suite #3 and serves as President of the LA Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
