Bio: Mrs. Hanna Nielsen York is a graduate of Fresno Pacific University (BA ’04) and California State University, Fresno (MA ’07). She runs a private voice studio in Fresno and serves as an adjunct music professor at Fresno City College. Mrs. York has been a member of The Fresno Grand Opera Chorus, has performed as a guest artist on Fresno Pacific University’s Pacific Artists Series and has performed as a soloist in the Fresno community since graduating from CSUF. Her Musical Theatre experience includes productions of The Phantom of the Opera (Christine Daaé. COS, Visalia), Hello, Dolly! (Mrs. Molloy. CenterStage Clovis), The Secret Garden (Lily. COS, Visalia), The Sound of Music (Maria, Good Company Players, Fresno 2012, Raisin' Cain Players, Selma 2013) Fresno), The Music Man (Marian Paroo, Raisin' Cain Players, 2015) and Disney's "Beauty and the Beast (Mrs. Potts, CenterStage Clovis, 2016). Ms. York is a regular guest artist with the Fresno Community Concert Band.
