Bio: Kip Wilborn has appeared as a leading tenor with opera companies and symphonies around the world. He has also enjoyed success in film and music theater. He starred as Sam Kaplan in the musical film "Street Scene" which was awarded the "Best Musical Film" award at the International Wide Screen Awards in Amsterdam. On the music theater stage he starred as Ravenal, Raoul, and Phantom in the Hal Prince productions of Showboat and Phantom of the Opera. His solo CD, “Be My Love” with the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra garnered a "Best New Artist" nomination from the International Surround Music Awards. Currently, he is continuing his concert career on the mainland and in Europe in the symphony pops production, “Frank and Mario- together again for the first time” which he created and produces. In Honolulu, he is the Director of the Pacific Rim School of the Arts.
