As an oratorio soloist Jennie has performed throughout Canada as well as in Germany and the U.K. On the concert stage Jennie made her debut with the Vancouver Symphony and the Vancouver Chamber Choir in Brahms’ Ein Deutches Requiem for which the Globe and Mail wrote: “Such sang “Ihr habt nun Traurigkeit” with melting beauty of tone, her silvery instrument powerfully and movingly conveying the aria’s warmth and sublime tenderness.” Her live performances have been broadcast on CBC Radio, MDR (Germany) and the BBC (U.K). She has also recorded works for CBC Records and the Naxos label.

Jennie teaches applied voice at Western University and the Algoma Conservatory. She looks forward to expanding her pedagogical skills by developing curriculum and teaching classes in Musical Theatre and Classical Voice for the Algoma Conservatory in 2014/15. Having just completed her first season as a member of the Artistic Company at the Stratford Festival of Canada in the role of Singing Coach, Jennie worked on the musicals Man of La Mancha and Crazy For You. She looks forward to returning for the 2015/16 season where she will continue her work as a singing coach with both classical actors and members of the musical company.
