Bio: Kathleen Kozak has a Bachelor's degree in Music Composition from The University of the Arts and owns Vox Music Studios in South Jersey, where she teaches more than 50 young students voice, piano, theory, songwriting, ear training, recording, performance and improvisation. She has studied classical voice with Bonita Granite at Rowan University and travels to New York City everyone to learn songwriting from Grammy - award winner and voice coach Tina Shafer. Kathleen is an avid songwriter and uses her in-house recording studio to make demos and projects for students and other musicians. Kathleen trained with Sal Dupree for front-of-line The Voice auditions in 2017. She also studies music engineering with Emmy-award winner Kevin Bents and continues to hone piano skills with Curtis-alum Randy Chick, who plays piano for Jersey’s beloved cover band “Don’t Call Me Francis.”
