Bio: Baritone Harrison L. Bumgardner holds a B.M. in Vocal Performance from Appalachian State University and a M.M. in Vocal Pedagogy and Performance from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Originally from Kings Mountain, NC, Harrison moved to Charlotte in 2013 upon completing his Master’s degree. He opened the Bumgardner Voice Studio in 2013 and began teaching students immediately. Most recently he performed the roles of Cinderella’s Prince (Into The Woods), Dewhurst (The Scarlet Pimpernel) with CPCC Summer Theatre, Marco (Gianni Schicchi) with Opera Carolina, Perchik (The Fiddler on the Roof) with the Jewish Community Center, Enjolras (Les Miserables) with CPCC, Pandolfe (Cendrillon) and Masetto (Don Giovanni) with UNCG Opera Theatre, and Boatswain (H.M.S. Pinafore) with Opera Carolina. As a member of the Opera Carolina chorus, Harrison has just completed his 3rd season and actively sings as a one of the many Street Opera performances that Opera Carolina produces.
