Bio: Collaborative pianist, Kimberly McAllister, founder and artistic director of Confluence Art Song; executive boards of the Scottish Partnership for Arts and Education (SPAE) and formerly, the American Kantorei. Adjunct Faculty - Webster University (MO) and grant recipient/member of American Musicological Society. Doctoral student (DWS) - Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies, MM - Piano Accompanying/Vocal Coaching - Westminster Choir College of Rider University - Princeton, NJ, BA Music (Piano Performance) - Wheaton College Conservatory of Music (IL). Former touring pianist/organist for the internationally-recognized American Boychoir School (NJ), working with James Litton and Craig Denison, with whom she helped form a new chorus at Westminster Choir College. Former staff pianist at Oakwood College (AL) - working in close collaboration with master-teacher Ginger Beazley, Westminster Choir College/Westminster Conservatory (NJ), University of MO-St Louis, and Washington University in St Louis. Former Répétiteur/Staff Pianist at New Jersey Opera Festival, Opera Theatre of St Louis (Gerdine Young Artist Ensemble coach/pianist, Carey Franklin, director), Wichita Grand Opera, and maintains connections with Winter Opera (MO) and Union Avenue Opera (MO). Through these, she has been a part of the development of numerous professional singers, such as Angela Brown, Levi Hernandez, Andrea Lauren Brown, and Derrell Acon, and assists in bespoke digital role preparation materials for traveling opera professionals. She has been a part of numerous chamber music groups spanning her long career as a pianist, most notably Trio èclectique in St Louis, and served as Company Pianist with Princeton Ballet, Huntsville Ballet and Saint Louis Ballet (Gen Hourichi, artistic director), where she was music director for the Puccini Art Song project with Nilas Martins (New York City Ballet). As an organist and AGO member, she held numerous posts in AL, KS, MO and most notably at All Saints Episcopal - Princeton, NJ as well as singing in professional-level choruses such as the Princeton Singers (John Bertalot, UK - founder and director, St Louis Chamber Chorus, and the American Kantorei. Postgraduate programs include the AIMS-American Institute of Musical Studies (German Lieder Coaching) - Graz, Austria and the Institute for Advanced Vocal Studies - Paris, France and many summer art song intensives with Martin Katz.
