Title: Soprano, Voice Teacher, Foreign Language Diction Coach, Voice Rehabilitation

Bio: The outstanding feature of my studio is the extremely high success rate both artistically and with respect to career goals. Hallmarks of the technique I teach are solid “anchored “ support, beautiful legato, flexibility, “ring” that is a result of throat space and a low larynx, and free high notes. I have a special interest and success in teaching coloratura voices of all ranges and most singers are trained to be able to sing fast and accurate fioratura. I have undertaken extensive private study with word-renowned teachers of singing technique, well as study with legendary opera singers and recitalists. The lineage of teachers with whom I have studied include the techniques of Vera Rózsa, Alan Lindquest and William Vernard. I have taught in private practice and on the faculty at William Paterson University, The University of Texas at Austin, Texas A&M University, Kingston University of London, as well as being an applied music consultant at Brown University. I prepare students for examinations with The Associated Board of the royal Schools of music where the vast majority have received marks of distinction.. This spring two thirds of my students participating in the NYSSMA festival received perfect scores of 100%. Adjudicators comments for my students were ' In all the years of my adjudicating for NYSSMA, I have never heard a voice like this. Extremely beautiful and mature tone and focus. Excellent support and breath a true operatic quality. Excellent diction and dynamics, very sensitive to the text. You are a soloist. Best of luck in the future. Wow'. Kevin J.Giroux. Excellence in voice teaching reveals great voices, as well as good voices and unique voices. I consider myself to be a true cross-genre teacher having extensive experience perfoming and teaching a variety of styles. My students are among the performers who have appeared on the world’s great opera stages, concert halls, on Broadway and in the West End as well as teaching on four continents. Won’t you join us?.
