Title: Adjunct professor; Boyce College & Southern Seminary Area Coordinator for Voice
Bio: My goal is that each student leaves his or her voice lesson with a greater love for singing. I believe in working from "strength to strength" by beginning with what each singer already does well. My first concern is for the vocal health of each singer. I evaluate each student with kindness, honesty, integrity, and respect. I teach as a voice instructor for the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Boyce College. I previously taught private students and group lessons, but I regret I am unable to take new students at this time due to COVID-19 restrictions. I am thankful for my rich and diverse education ranging from the Cincinnati-Conservatory of Music to the reputable "Bach to Rock" NATS member Robert Edwin. I have both a Bachelors and Masters in Music in Voice Performance. My students have been on national record labels, performed in musical theater and opera productions, served faithfully in local churches, and served as music educators. I began my DMA in Voice Performance at the University of Kentucky in the spring of 2021.
