Bio: With over 19 years of teaching experience and a deep passion for vocal pedagogy, I bring a wealth of knowledge to every lesson. Previously serving as an Associate Professor of Instruction and Advisor in the Department of Theatre at Northwestern University, I worked closely with students to hone their craft in both classical and contemporary vocal performance. Now based in New York City, I continue to share my love for voice and artistry through private instruction, offering personalized guidance to help each student unlock their full potential. My teaching philosophy is centered on empowering singers to find their true voice. I combine classical technique with the flexibility to explore a range of styles, from musical theatre to modern genres, ensuring that each artist can sing with freedom, confidence, and authenticity. Whether working with aspiring professionals or those singing for personal growth, I strive to create a collaborative, supportive environment that nurtures both technical skill and artistic expression.
