Bio: Kim Robson has taught voice at Mercyhurst College, Allegheny College, Tabor Academy, Merion Mercy Academy, the University of the Sciences, Temple University, Penn State Abington, and in her home studio. Performing credits include Sarah in the world premier of Out of the Rain at OperaDelaware, Miss Wordsworth in Albert Herring, Gianetta in L’Elisir d’Amore, Lucy in The Telephone, Amelia in Amelia Goes to the Ball; and a national tour with American Family Theatre’s Beauty and the Beast. Locally, she is a soprano section leader, soloist, and occasional flutist at St. David’s Church in Wayne, PA. Former president and board member of the Greater Philadelphia chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (GPNATS), Kim was associate professor of music at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, where she directed the music program and conducted the choir, chamber choir, wind ensembles, and jazz ensemble. She currently teaches voice and is the director of choirs at the Pennsylvania State University at Abington. Her research is focused on music performance anxiety, and she helped organize the 2017 GPNATS seminar “High Anxiety: Coping with Music Performance Anxiety.”
