Title: Adjunct Professor of Voice
Bio: Dana Rouse, mezzo-soprano, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance from Biola University and her Master’s Degree in the same from the Eastman School of Music. As a mezzo-soprano, she has performed musical theater and operatic roles in Los Angeles, Cincinnati, and Rochester, New York. She has also appeared as a solo oratorio artist in many works including Brahms’ Alto Rhapsody and Verdi’s Requiem. Dana has a love for teaching and has run the Rouse Music Studio for more than 21 years. She has also taught voice at the State University of New York in Fredonia, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, as well as general music at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Day School and Oaks Christian Middle School in Thousand Oaks. Dana has sung locally with Los Robles Master Chorale, and is currently a chorister and soloist with Arete, a professional vocal ensemble in residence at California Lutheran University. She currently serves as Adjunct Professor of Voice at CLU and directs the beginning choirs of Los Robles Children's Choir as well as maintaining her private vocal studio.
