Bio: Mike Padilla is a Vocal Coach, Pianist and Musical Director at the University of Arizona School of Theatre. A 34 year career in Musical Theatre as an Accompanist/Coach as well as an actor, Mike specializes in Voice Building, Breathwork, Song interpretation and Audition Prep for the Musical Theatre Student.
Mike Trained in San Francisco with Baker Peeples, Studio ACT with Ava Victoria and Frances Epsen-Devlin and the SF Academy of Performing Arts with Richard Nickol where he was the staff pianist as well as a voice student. Mike currently works and studies with Monte Ralstin the head of the UofA Musical Theatre Voice Dept and NATS teacher.
Mike has had a long career as a cabaret artist, accompanist, musical director/vocal coach and as an actor in San Franciso, Japan and Tucson.
He is currently an instructor at the UofA School of Theatre and is the Musical Director of Arizona Repertory Theatre.
