Bio: Vaughn Bryner, MM, CSVW-III both performs professionally and teaches voice in classical style as well as various commercial (popular) music styles. His students include professional singer/songwriters, jazz singers, music theatre singers, folk singers and rock singers as well as highly motivated high school (and occasionally younger) students seeking singing as a career or serious avocation. He is certified in all three levels of Somatic Voicework(tm) with Jeannette LoVetri as well as receiving much additional training with Ms. LoVetri in private sessions and teacher training workshops in her method of teaching commercial music singing technique and styles. Vaughn's professional performing career includes opera and oratorio roles with numerous companies and orchestras on the eastern seaboard and in the midwest. As a commercial music singer he has performed jazz standards as a singer and pianist for a number of years at lounge, restaurant and country club venues and as a music theatre singer in revues as well as shows he co-created to address social justice issues through drama and music. Also having extensive training as a keyboardist,Vaughn has music directed many musicals and revues and worked with choirs and a capella groups.
