Title: DMA Student in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy, New England Conservatory

Bio: Hello! I am on voice faculty at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, the Berklee College of Music, and the University of Massachusetts Boston. I am a doctoral candidate in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy at New England Conservatory. I have a Master's degree in Vocal Performance from the Eastman School of Music. I have participated in a number of esteemed pre-professional training programs, including the Music Academy of the West, SongFest, and "The Song Continues" at Carnegie Hall. I was a first-place winner and "Overall Outstanding Female" in the NATS Mid-Atlantic Regional auditions in 2014, and I placed third in the NATS National Finals in Boston the same year. I have taught voice for four years and have experience teaching both male and female students from the ages of 12 to 60 who are interested in all styles of music. I am a vocal pedagogy teaching assistant working under Dr. Ian Howell, a pioneer in the field of vocal pedagogy and psychoacoustics. My research interests include topics in voice science, vocal rehabilitation, gender and music, and Jewish art song repertoire. I believe that voice lessons should be a safe and nurturing place to build a secure singing technique that supports you in joyful music-making. It would be an honor to be part of your musical journey!
