Bio: A South Dakota native, Alyssa Toepfer has been praised as a soprano with "unbridled dexterity" (Kansas City Star) and a "marvelous, soaring tone" (KC Metropolis).
Ms. Toepfer is currently based in Overland Park, KS, where she works as an outreach artist at The Lyric Opera of Kansas City and is a first-year member of the Grammy award-winning Kansas City Chorale.
Recent stage credits include a return to the Wichita Grand Opera stage as Wanda in The Grand Duchess of Gerolstein, the soprano solos in Poulenc’s Gloria at the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Sciences in Sioux Falls, SD, and the soprano solo in Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem at the Lied Center in Lawrence, KS.Alyssa is a regional finalist of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. Born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Music at Augustana University and a Master of Music in Voice at The University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance.
