Title: Assistant Professor of Voice/ Professional Singer
Now Assistant Professor of Voice at Berklee College of Music, Singing since birth, Julie (Gibbons) Kinscheck was raised in Ithaca, NY, the daughter of an opera singing minister and a feminist poet! Thanks to the influence of two rock band prodigy brothers and the folk-rocking 60's-70's, Julie began performing her own songs for others as early as age 9. After many years performing all styles of popular music and recording several albums, Julie began focussing more and more on passing on her passion to other singers, guitarists and songwriters of all ages. Though still playing out often, she now runs a private studio in Billerica, MA and travels to present her "Vocal Training For Praise Singers" curriculum to churches and praise singers internationally supporting her book: Vocal Training for Praise Singers.
