Bio:

While still an active performer, Ms. Karanas maintains a private teaching studio in the greater Austin area, where she resides with her family. She works with a variety of levels, ranging from the serious high-school singer to the working adult. She has presented masterclasses and artist talks at Arizona State University, Southeastern Louisiana University, Dolora Zajick's Institute for Young Dramatic Voices, and Lyric Opera of Chicago's Youth Opera Council. During her undergraduate and graduate schooling, she taught voice through Southeastern Louisiana University's Community School of Music and as a teaching assistant during her time at Arizona State University. She is also an Assistant Professor of Voice at Texas State University.

She teaches in 60 and 90 minute sessions.
