Bio: I have trained extensively, earning a Bachelor of Music (Voice Education 1986) from the University of Toronto, an A.R.C.T. in Voice Education (1988) from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, and a Bachelor of Education (Music Education 1990) from the University of Toronto. I have sung professionally, as both chorister and soloist. I was a member of the Elmer Iseler Singers, and was a soloist for many choirs and ensembles, including the Toronto Mendelssohn Youth Choir, Chorus Niagara, the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. I have been a high school music teacher for 28 years, specializing in Voice and Keyboard, with the public school boards in Toronto, Bancroft, and Hamilton. Most recently, I have helped to found the HWDSB Audition-Based Program of the Arts at Glendale Secondary School in Hamilton, where I have worked intensively with talented teens to produce vocal performances of a very high calibre.
