Bio: “A stunning instrument of great value on the national and international stage,” (Laurence Ewashko) coloratura soprano Misty Banyard has established herself as a top self artist, particularly in comedic roles. In fact, Absolute Comedy Ottawa Management feels that she has "impeccable comedic timing" and CBC's Laurence Wall acclaimed her on air for her “fine voice and touch for the theatrical.” Holding Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Music Education degrees from Acadia University and a Masters of Music Degree in Vocal performance from The University of Ottawa, Ms. Banyard has also established herself as a vocal clinician, coach, adjudicator and voice teacher of skill and merit. (Her clinical voice work at the Grange School in Hartford, England was described as "spectacular.")
