Title: Voice Teacher

Bio: Sarabeth Belón, a Southern California native, sings regularly with the Los Angeles Opera Chorus both as an ensemble member and as a soloist. Most recently she was heard as a soloist with Los Angeles Opera’s productions of El Último Sueño de Frida & Diego and Highway 1, USA. Her solo work is also heard in concert and oratorio works throughout California. Back in 2023, she was the alto soloist with the La Jolla Symphony and Chorus in their performance of Rossini's Stabat Mater. That same year, Sarabeth was the alto soloist with I Cantori’s performance of Bach’s Christmas Oratorio. Before these oratorio performances, Sarabeth has sung varying roles from different tessituras and periods. From the more contemporary period, she had sung the role of the Older Woman in the University of Southern California’s production of Flight, while completing her Master's degree there. Sarabeth’s tessitura and repertoire versatility were also present before USC. She had sung the contralto role of Armindo in Partenope and then performed the role of Marcellina in Le Nozze di Figaro. She finished her 2018-2019 Season by singing as the 3rd maid in Zemlinsky’s Der Zwerg, and finally as Olga in Opera Neo’s production of Eugene Onegin. Alongside performing, Belón is a passionate music teacher. She is an adjunct lecturer in Vocal Performance at USC's School of Dramatic Arts.
