Bio: Katherine is a native of Boulder City, NV and has returned to the Las Vegas area after completing her master's degree in vocal performance and pedagogy from the University of Houston. While attending UH, she taught courses on basic vocal techniques and taught undergraduate voice majors through the university. She has been teaching privately for almost five years and is passionate about working with singers to help shape their voices by focusing on healthy technique first.
When she isn't teaching, Katherine also performs with Vegas City Opera in their Young Artist program. A few of Katherine's favorite credits include The Queen of the Night/ First Lady in The Princess and the Magic Flute (Vegas City Opera), Madeline/ Isabelle in The Face on the Barroom Floor (VCO), Millicent in Dinner at Eight (University of Houston), Norina in Don Pasquale (UH), the world premiere of Lady Teazle in School for Scandal (UH), Nanetta in Falstaff (Utah Vocal Arts Academy), Mimi in La boheme (Brigham Young University), Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro (BYU), and many others.
