Baritone Jeremy M. Wong is rapidly building a name for himself as a versatile singer on both the international and U.S. stages, with focuses in early music, oratorio, art song, and ensemble singing. Born and currently based in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, recent seasons have seen him premiering solo roles in major choral compositions celebrating the culture of the islands, originating the solo quartet in the premiere of Michael-Thomas Foumai’s Raise Hawaiki with the Hawai‘i Symphony Orchestra and Oahu Choral Society (OCS), singing the baritone solos in the full premiere of Herb Mahelona’s Kinohi as well as Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9. He has appeared as a member of the Carnegie Hall Chamber Chorus; the Berwick chorus of the Oregon Bach Festival; the JSB Ensemble in Stuttgart, Germany; and the Weimarer Bachkantatenakademie. Locally, has collaborated with Early Music Hawaii, OCS, and the Lutheran Church of Honolulu.

Mr. Wong is on the voice faculty of Hawai‘i Pacific University where he teaches applied voice lessons to a diverse undergraduate population. He has previously served on the faculty at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa (UH Mānoa), where he taught applied voice to music majors and directed and oversaw the choral program. Mr. Wong has been an active vocal clinician and choral adjudicator, presenting workshops and clinics in the states of Hawai‘i, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Washington. He holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from UH Mānoa with Maya Hoover, and a Bachelor of Musical Arts from DePauw University with Caroline B. Smith.
