Maria Georgakarakou

Bio: Maria Georgakarakou was born in Athens Greece. In 1997 she moved to the United States as a Fulbright scholar. In 2001 she received her Masters degree from the Longy School of Music. In 2015 she received her PhD in musicology from Boston University. She is an active performer and teaches singing and voice pedagogy in many countries across the world. She has sung in numerous concerts and regularly conducts master-classes in person or online.
